I don't know what it's like there in Toronto, but here in Florida, we have WIC, Food Stamps, all kinds of stuff. I like the website http://www.benefits.gov It gives you a checklist of things you may qualify for, and you fill out forms to figure out what you can actually get.

Try and see what your local government offers in benefits. You might find that you can get assistance with food, clothing, money, etc. There should be a place that offers that to you.. Maybe ask someone who is a single parent about how they might get help in your area. I live in the states so I cant tell you what your government provides but there should be some sort of assistance available to you. I have 2 kids and you can do it girl!! Its all possible :) Keep you head up and keep believing :)
