I'm a Casting Producer looking for single mother families (with teenage children) from the US to take part in a third series of a BBC factual entertainment programme on parenting.
In each one-hour programme, two British teenagers will be sent to live with a family abroad, to experience life in their country under their rules. We are looking for families who are passionate about parenting (with children aged approx. 13-17) who are proud of their strong parenting and family values and who would be willing to accommodate two British teenagers for one week. All expenses will be covered.
We are looking for parents who believe in instilling old-fashioned discipline, values, boundaries, morality and respect in their own children and who are keen to do the same for two British teenagers who have lacked a bit of structure in their lives.
We are particularly keen to include a single mother family to show that there is not one universal family type and to highlight the diversity of families today. You must have at least one child who is a teenager.
