New to being a single mom need advice

Hi, I am a young parent of 2 lovely girls and I as of today am getting a divorce...I have no job since I have been a stay at home mother for the past 5 months and been in school for 15 months before that...I obviously have to move out and I have no idea what I am going to do...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry for the situation you’re in. Is your husband not going to help you out financially with the girls? He is legally bound to, so make sure you get what’s rightfully yours from him. But that doesn’t mean you depend entirely on what he can give you. It’s not a bad idea to start a career for yourself, not just so you can bring home some money, but also because it’s going to be good for you from a psychological, physical and emotional point of view.

Since you have two little girls to care for, I’d advise you to look for home-based jobs. What did you go to school for? Maybe your field allows that kind of flexibility. If not, consider a short-duration vocational training program in fields like medical transcription, medical coding, administrative assistance, etc. These are some popular home-based careers you can explore!
